How to dress for work

Oct 20, 2016

We think you should dress to the nines EVERYDAY!

But, why? So much effort!

Personal style exudes confidence. What you wear non-verbally tells the world who you are. An outfit you adore gives one the confidence to conquer the world and face any problems you may have. My mood is instantly lifted when I know I have put together a fabulous outfit. Dressing for the role you want, not the one you have comes into play here as well.

If you put together a killer outfit that you feel great about, you will stand taller. You will be able to accomplish things you might not have thought you could. Life throws us all sorts of curveballs, but if you’re happy with your look for the day, that is one less thing to worry about! Don’t you want to navigate both the challenges and wins each day in a superb outfit? It sets the tone for the company: you respect yourself and your role, and they will know you are one to watch!

Want to know a secret?

One of the secrets to feeling & being beautiful is self-confidence. When someone who is confident walks down the street or into a room, people turn their heads. They wonder what is that je ne sais quoi about her? And guess what?? It all begins with your look!

We suggest picking out your outfits for the week over the weekend, so you’ll be organized and getting dressed each day will be stress-free. You can either buy new things or “shop your closet.” We have the best time coming up with new & creative ways to put the pieces we have together to create outfits we didn’t think of before. If you want a more personalized approach, email alison@thestylethatbindsus.com for an in-person or digital style session.
