We are excited to have Helya Mohammadian who is the CEO and Founder of Slick Chicks on The Style That Binds Us podcast! Helya went to FIT & worked at Carolina Herrera, Gilt & Bergdorf Goodman before founding Slick Chicks. After Helya’s sister had her baby, she was having trouble bending over which didn’t make getting dressed independently very feasible. Helya started looking for options online for underwear you could put on without having to bend over and there was nothing out there!! Helya decided to take the matter into her own hands, & designed a pair of underwear with hook-and-eye fasteners to make them easy to take off & put on. Little did she know how big of an impact that would have, and she is only just beginning.
