WHO IS CHLOE BOLLORÉ?

Chloé is a pop artist who lives in Paris with her four daughters and husband. She leads a very busy life between the girls, her work, and making time to be with her husband; they entertain at home or go out almost every night with clients or friends! HOW DID YOU MEET CHLOÉ?

We met Chloé Bolloré through Clemence von Mueffling! Remember when we interviewed her for our podcast & YouTube channel about her wonderful book, Ageless Beauty, The French Way”? Clemence and Chloé grew up as very dear friends, and then Chloé married her cousin, so they are now related by marriage! Clemence knew we would enjoy meeting this beautiful, creative woman, and the rest is history!

Chloé is a collage artist. The story behind how her career in art began is a delightful one, stemming for the desire to give her husband (“a man who has everything”), a special birthday gift. You will enjoy hearing her talk about it on the podcast, as well as the technique she has developed in order to create pieces on a larger scale. We absolutely adore the idea or purpose behind her art, and rather than try to explain it ourselves, we want you to hear it from her.

Chloé invited us to her studio in Paris to record the podcast, which was a real treat in itself-to see her art in person is FASCINATING! It was a chilly March day, and she welcomed us into her atelier full of brightly colored pop art and family photos. She told us all about her work, the technique, who commissions her pieces (not mentioning any names, being given dozens of family photos and mementos by famous people is a big responsibility and she respects everyone’s privacy-that doesn’t mean we weren’t dying to ask!, her favorite spots in Paris, and so much more.
