The one thing that every single dermatologist has recommended to us is sunscreen. Hands down, it is the most important thing you can do for your skin. It can be lifesaving, and is the best anti-aging treatment there is. 

There are more ways than putting on a lotion, spray or cream to help protect your skin from sun damage. Being careful about what time of day you are outside, avoiding the heat of the day (12-3 pm for most of us), is a smart idea. Another form of protection is wearing a hat. We love this, because we love hats in general!! In the summer, our must-have items are sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Growing up in the now “infamous” days of sunbathing with baby oil on your face, head tilted up towards the sun, has caused irreparable damage to the skin of millions of people in Alison’s generation.
