We are delighted to welcome Sara Gay Forden, author of HOUSE OF GUCCI, to The Style That Binds Us podcast! Sara’s book was recently brought to life via film in Ridley Scott’s adaptation of House of Gucci starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver and Al Pacino. Sara worked as Bureau Chief and Business Reporter for Women’s Wear Daily in Milan from 1993-1999 where she reported on the inside story of Gucci’s struggles and successes. During those years, she wrote about the transformation of Italian family-owned luxury labels, including Armani, Versace, Prada and Ferragamo, into mega brands. We are thrilled to give you an inside look into why she wrote this book, how she conducted her research, her thoughts on the film and so much more. Listen to the episode on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
