above the keyboard dressing
As work from home & our virtual lives continue while waiting on the pending COVID-19 vaccine, we have given thought to what our lives will look like this fall. The wonderful part of building a “Work From Home” wardrobe is that you don’t have to worry about the bottom half, shoes or bags, coats, etc. People will only be seeing you “from the keyboard up”! We suggest investing in a micro wardrobe just for this purpose. You can spend a little more per piece perhaps, because you are only creating “half looks”! We included “steals” and also a few drool-worthy “splurges”. Buy quickly if you fall in love with an item, because demand is larger than supply due to the shutdown of factories, etc. during to the global pandemic.
Here is an IGTV video that stylist, Alison Bruhn, created on how to dress for a Zoom meeting. Once applied, our audience has gotten GREAT feedback from their colleagues.
Here is a link to an episode on The Style That Binds Us Show where we give you tips on Zoom (best lighting, angle, background, etc.)
